AUBURN, Ind. — The City of Auburn was recently awarded $1 million in Community Crossing Matching Grant dollars through the Indiana Department of Transportation for the 2025 construction season.
The City of Auburn will provide $1 million in matching grant dollars to make the 2025 paving projects possible.
The 2025 paving projects include:
• Bridgewater Subdivision including Eckhart Avenue, Phaeton Way, Muirfield Court, St. Andrews Place, Dewey Street, Prestwick Way, Turnberry Lane and Troon Court.
• Auburn Drive from Wayne Street to Old Brick Road
• S. Wayne Street from Auburn Drive to Lincoln Street
• E. Ninth Street from Union Street to Bridge Street
• Duesenberg Drive from Sycamore Court to Elm Street
• S. Main Street from Ensley Avenue to 12th Street
• S. Clark Street from Highland Drive to 7th Street, and
• Highland Drive from Clark Street to Dewey Street.
Total estimated construction cost for the 2025 paving projects is $2,050,000.
