Police Department
Every day, our police officers work diligently to protect the City of Auburn.
We are constantly monitoring the safety of our community and proactively working to address any threats through relationship building, education, and community outreach. When situations arise, our trained and highly skilled officers respond in a timely manner to eradicate it as quickly as possible and protect anyone from additional harm. Everything we do is aimed at protecting and preserving the community and those who live and work here.
Sign Up for an Auburn Police Department (APD) Class
The APD periodically offers a self-defense class using the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System. Dates will be communicated when the next session is scheduled.

Training the next generation of police officers is critical to the long-term vitality of our city. We have a strong Police Reserve program for those interested in a career in law enforcement. Download the Reserve Officer Application (PDF).
