AUBURN, Ind. -- Attention downtown businesses and building owners, applications are now being accepted for 2025 Auburn Facade grants.
The Auburn Facade Grant program is made possible thanks to a partnership between the City of Auburn, Auburn Redevelopment Commission, and Auburn Main Street.
This program helps businesses and building owners enhance the aesthetic appeal of their properties through a 50-percent matching grant up to $15,000 (or more on a case-by-case basis).
Improvements/repairs covered include:
- Exterior building improvements
- Exterior lighting
- Renovated signage or new signage
- Awnings
- Historic facade elements
- windows and doors
- and more.
Eligibility requirements:
- Your property must be located in the designated Facade Improvement area and be 50 years or older or a contributing historical building.
- Building owners can apply, or tenants with written consent from the building owner.
