Tonight through the weekend and into next week, we’re expecting snow and frigid, below-zero temperatures.
Please take extra precautions to keep yourself and others safe.
- Limit time outdoors when possible
- Give yourself extra travel time if snow arrives
- If able, park vehicles in driveways (not on streets) so plows can clear roads efficiently
- Check on friends, family, and neighbors
Tips from Auburn Electric:
- Keep your thermostat set at a consistent temperature
- Additional layers including sweaters, sweatshirts, and blankets can provide extra warmth without raising the thermostat
- Rolled towels placed at the edge of doors can help to keep drafts out
- Space heaters are not only a fire hazard they will raise your bill
- Never use a stove or oven to heat your house as it is a fire hazard
