Business Development Coordinator

AES is seeking a hard-working, self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Business Development Coordinator.  The individual is responsible for maintaining good relationships and fulfilling requests with current customers, while simultaneously building new customer relationships and pursuing new sales. Our primary goal is to provide excellent customer service and ensure high customer retention. This position will focus primarily on business and enterprise customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Become a knowledge expert in our products and services
  • Support CSRs in sales activities
  • Identify new markets and customer opportunities and establish effective marketing and communications strategies for those opportunities
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers via email, phone and in-person
  • Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
  • Manage the sales lifecycle: generate leads, prepare quotes, process orders, schedule installations, follow-up with customer after install, review billing for accuracy
  • Collaborate with engineering and field services to ensure proposals are accurate and meet the customer’s needs
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Participate in marketing related activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the AES General Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related business field preferred
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong networking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand AES business operations and process
  • Strong organizational skills, with an attention to detail and customer focus

  • Salary range: $45,500 – $75,000, depending on experience
