New Website

AUBURN, Ind. – The city’s new and improved website is up and running, with several new features to enhance your experience.

The website’s homepage   https://ci.auburn.in.us/ currently features four scrolling images of iconic landmarks and other sites around the city. From the homepage, visitors can find everything they need.

New features on the homepage include a News and Announcements section https://ci.auburn.in.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?CID=1 featuring the latest news and happening around the city. Adjacent to the news section is the Community Calendar https://ci.auburn.in.us/calendar.aspx?CID=14,22, featuring the latest community events including upcoming city meetings.

One of the key new features is the Notify Me® button, allowing visitors to signup for email and text notifications regarding new postings and information on the city’s site. The Notify Me® feature can be accessed at   https://ci.auburn.in.us/list.aspx.

From the calendar visitors can subscribe to iCalendar, which allows users to import internet calendars and/or events into their personal calendar applications. The feature allows you to add a single event to your calendar by selecting the iCal icon, downloading the file and importing it into your calendar program of choice. You can also subscribe to the entire calendar if you want your calendar to automatically update the calendar as events are added on the website.

Programs utilizing the iCal format include Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, Google Calendar and most smartphone desktop applications.

An “Auburn Video Tour” https://www.elocallink.tv/m/v/Redesign4/?pid=w4w1y9w4y41&fp=inaub22_wel_rev2_iwd has been added to the bottom of the homepage featuring four short videos highlighting our community. The “Welcome” video features a message from Mayor Mike Ley. Other video options highlight the city’s parks and recreation department, quality of life and community organizations.

The video section allows for sponsorship opportunities for local businesses. By clicking on each of the businesses logos visitors will be taken to each business’ website. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Residents still can pay their electric, sewer, water and Auburn Essential Services bills online at https://ci.auburn.in.us/166/Pay-Utility-Bill-Online.

By creating a website account visitors can personalize their viewing on the site helping to make their experience their own.

The “FAQs” button https://ci.auburn.in.us/FAQ.aspx allows you access to the most asked questions by each department including, Auburn Electric, Building Permits and Inspections, Code Ordinances, Community Cat Program, Fire Department, Home FAQs, Municipal Utilities, Parks and Recreation, Refuse and Recycling, Street Department, Water Department and the Water Pollution Control Department.

Upgrades to the city’s eSuites feature will take place in the coming months.
