Prerequisites

Must
own a Platted or Legal parcel.

Parcel
and occupancy use must be in proper zoning district.

Structure
must have proper State of Indiana Tag

Manufacturers
installation instructions must be submitted
The
Process
1)
Submit Application
(Acrobat
Reader Required) to Department of Building,
Planning & Development
2)
Submit Survey/Drawing
-
Provide
legal description of property (Lot #, Block #, and Addition).
-
Provide
dimensions of lot, structure(s), and set backs drawn to scale.
Indicate all streets and alleys adjacent to property. Identify
any easements on the property.

Provide
one complete set of site, manufacturers installation
instructions, foundation plans & specifications and unit
Serial number
-
Drawn
to scale and accurately dimensioned
-
Indicate
location and extent of electrical, plumbing on a layout
-
Provide
two elevations of building
-
Any
Non - Manufactured structures to be built must have all
requirements submitted

Approval
from Zoning Administrator

Receive approval from Department

Receive Permit
5)
Install Structure
6)
Obtain
Required Inspections during construction
7)
Receive Certificate of Occupancy
8)
Move in!!!

Installation of
manufactured structure for only residential use
