Tee up for the APD Golf Outing and Support Community Programs

Posted by thowens on March 14, 2016

The Auburn Police Department is hosting its annual golf outing at Bridgewater Golf Club on July 8, 2016. Proceeds will fund a number of community police programs, including Shop with a Cop, K9 Drug Program and Kid Print.

“We are charged with protecting this community and one of the ways we do that is through our outreach programs that give us the opportunity to interact with citizens, mentor youth and provide needed community resources,” says Chief Martin McCoy.

Three Ways to Be Involved

1) Sign up to golf: Sign up by yourself and be placed on a team, or put your own two-, three- or foursome together. Entry fees are:

  • Singles: $100
  • Twosomes: $200
  • Threesomes: $275
  • Foursomes: $375

2) Sponsor the event: There are several levels of sponsorship available, ranging from $150 to $5,000. At every level, sponsors will receive some public recognition at the event or on event signs, programs and collateral materials.
