Parks & Rec Hiring for Summer Positions

The Auburn Parks & Recreation is accepting applications for seasonal employees. Specifically, they are hiring for the following positions:

  • Maintenance Employees: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to perform general park maintenance, cleaning and ground maintenance. Interested candidates must be available for weekends and evenings.
  • Lifeguards: Must be at least 16 years of age and be certified as a lifeguard. Interested candidates must be available for weekends and evenings.
  • Front Desk/Concession Employees: Must be at least 16 years of age and willing to work both the front desk and concession stand. Interested candidates must be available for weekends and evenings.

Applications are available at the Parks Office (1500 S. Cedar Street) or the Clerk Treasurer Office (210 E. 9th Street). You can also download an electronic version of the application.

The deadline for applications is April 30, 2014. You can email your completed application to parks(at)ci.auburn.in.us, or submit it in person at one of the offices listed above.
