Parks Department Hosts 27th Annual Christmas Walk

Posted by thowens on November 30, 2017

The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department invites you to the 27th Annual Christmas Walk. The walk will be held over two weekends: December 8-10 and Dec. 15-17. It is from 6-8 p.m. each evening at Eckhart Park (1500 S. Cedar St.) and is truly a “Winter Wonderland” for all to enjoy.

Visitors are sure to soak up the holiday spirit with some of our most popular holiday displays:

  • Rudolph and Misfit Island
  • Charlie Brown and the Gang
  • Gingerbread Village
  • Skating Snowmen

Plus, Santa will be on hand to hear children's Christmas wish lists, and Mrs. Claus will be in the storytelling station.

Visit the park office to make some reindeer food to take home. This will be available each night of the walk.

Admission is $2 per person OR $1 per person with a donation of a nonperishable food item. All items collected will go to the Community Center for Caring Food Pantry to help those in need this holiday season.

For more information, contact the Park Office at 925-2997.

Taxpayers have the ability to view budget notices in one central online location at BudgetNotices.IN.Gov. A new email subscription option is provided to taxpayers to stay informed of submissions by their local units. Taxpayers will be able to view all local government units in DeKalb county, search by their address, or use an interactive map tool. This website has been designed to promote the importance of budget notices and the role that they play in the daily lives of Indiana taxpayers. Taxpayers that do not have Internet access or have difficulties with the website may contact the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance at (888) 739-9826 and request a paper copy of the notices for their local government units.
