AUBURN POLICE DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE


On 12/31/2013 at approximately 2:20am the Auburn Police Department responded to DeKalb Health, 1316 East Seventh Street, in response to a reported theft from a vehicle.

Upon arrival it was learned that “Peanut” a pure bread miniature Schnauzer had been taken from a vehicle.  The owner of the K-9 stated he had left Peanut in his vehicle while he helped his mother into the hospital.  The owner stated when he returned to his vehicle approximately two hours later Peanut was gone.  The vehicle was not able to be locked. Peanut had on a blue collar at the time he was last seen.  

Peanut is a male approximately 19 months old and is salt and pepper in color. Anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Peanut is asked to call the Auburn Police Department at 260-920-3200.

Taxpayers that do not have Internet access or have difficulties with the website may contact the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance at (888) 739-9826 and request a paper copy of the notices for their local government units.
