The City of Auburn is conducting a study to assess the livability of the East Central Neighborhood and to evaluate the area for the possible development of a senior housing community.
The Auburn Police Department (APD) announced today that it raised enough money with its annual golf outing to fund its community outreach programs through 2015.
“Once again, we had great support from the community. There were 32 teams participating and numerous company and individual sponsors who helped make it another memorable event,” says Chief Martin McCoy. “Best of all, the money raised will be used to fund several programs that have become very important to the Auburn community.”
The Auburn Street Department today announced a couple street projects that will be occurring over the next few weeks. The work and repairs will improve the condition of several streets throughout the city.
Beginning June 9, two streets will be temporarily closed while the the city does repairs and street reconstruction.
The Auburn Police Department is hiring a full-time police officer. Both lateral and non-lateral candidates will be considered.
