Find Garage Sales in Auburn

When you have a garage sale, you're trying to do one thing: make some extra cash! And the more people who come to look at your "treasures," the more likely you are to sell your items.

Our new garage sale map aims to bring you the foot traffic you're after! This new, easy-to-navigate map lists current and upcoming garage sales in the area. The automated map is updated weekly so you always have the latest listings!

To get your garage sale listed on the map, simply:
  1. Download the signage permit form.
  2. Email the completed form to bpd(at)ci.auburn.in.us, or drop it off at City Hall at 210 South Cedar Street.
  3. Watch for your posting within 2-3 days!

Keep in mind that, by ordinance, permits are not required for garage sales, unless signs are placed on property other than yours, such as directional signs at intersections. (Note: Signs cannot be placed in the Road Right-of-Way, the grassy area between the road and sidewalk.) However, filling out our quick and simple sign application helps the City of Auburn to track garage sales ... fellow residents to find deals... and sellers to get free online advertising from a website and source they can trust.
