Fire Department

The fire personnel serving the City of Auburn have one focus: protecting what you value. In the event of a fire, medical emergency, vehicle accident, natural disaster or other emergency, we do everything we can to protect the people and property involved. Staffed 24 hours a day, our career and volunteer firefighters operate out of two strategically located stations.

Station 1
  • 4553 County Road 35 (just south of SR 8)
  • Home to two engines, a tender, ladder truck, and squad and rehab vehicles
Station 2
  • 902 South Grandstaff Drive (corner of Grandstaff and 15th streets)
  • Command staff offices and training facility
  • Home to an engine, ladder truck and brush truck

Fire Prevention and Inspections

Fire prevention is also one of the primary functions of the Auburn Fire Department. Our state and city fire codes were established for the sole purpose of fire prevention and life safety in the event of a fire. These codes are enforced through yearly inspections of public buildings, as well as inspections of new buildings prior to opening. Inspections are also carried out on new home builds and at the request of owners.
