Building, Planning & Development
As the developing arm of the city, we play a large role in Auburn’s future growth. Primarily, the Building, Planning and Development department issues permits, conducts building inspections and helps administer the local plan review process. Members of our department are staff of the Auburn Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals. We work closely with all citizens and business owners on city review and approval processes.
