The Auburn Police are happy to announce that Krista Johnson and Jeremy Heffelfinger have joined the Department as full time officers. Krista worked as a full time dispatcher for the Noble County Sheriff’s Department before joining Auburn. Jeremy was an Auburn Police Reserve and worked full time for the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department as a jailer. Both Krista and Jeremy will be under a field training program before attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in January of 2012.
The Auburn Police Department is now at 22 full time officers, 1 officer short from being fully staffed.
The Auburn Police Department is hiring a part-time dispatcher for the third shift. Interested individuals must submit an application by May 25. Click here for more info.
