Auburn Police Dept Fundraising for Updated Training Facility

Posted on February 20, 2012

The Auburn Police Department is seeking the public’s help to raise funds for the purpose of improving their current firearms training facility. Project plans include a new multi-use training building as well as improvements to the outdoor firearms training area.

The current facility, built in 1985 through donations and local labor, is currently utilized by more than 15 Local, State, and Federal, Law Enforcement Agencies and is one of only a few outdoor firearm facilities in Northern Indiana. Over the last 25 years the current facility has become outdated and too small to accommodate current manpower and training needs.

You can show your support of Law Enforcement and this project by purchasing a sponsor tile which will be displayed on an interior wall at the new training facility. Honor someone special by purchasing a sponsor tile in their name. Your support will help to insure quality training for local and regional Law Enforcement for years to come.

Orders accepted through 1 May 2012. All or a portion of your donation may be tax deductible.
