When should you call 911?
Call 911 in the event of an emergency, which is an event where there is an immediate threat to persons and/or property. Emergencies may include:
- serious injury
- serious medical condition
- crime in progress (burglaries, vandalism, damage to property)
- motor vehicle accident
- domestic abuse or assault
- any other situation needing immediate attention
If there is not immediate threat to the lives of individuals and/or property, you can submit an incident report or submit a tip via one of the forms below.

Requests will be taken to the earliest Auburn Board of Works and Safety meeting for consideration.
House checks will be performed at least once a week and will start on the day after the person is scheduled to leave.
This form can be submitted when a citizen would like to recognize and employee of the Auburn Police Department for his or her attitude, behavior or performance.
The Auburn Police will contact the submitting person to confirm the ride-along.
Time is critical in missing children cases. It is imperative that the person completing this form make personal contact with an on-duty Auburn Police Officer.
This Public Complaint Package has been developed as an avenue for citizens to file legitimate complaints or report inappropriate behavior of any employee of the Auburn Police Department.
