As we gear up to offer television services to Auburn residents and businesses later this year, I’m just filled with awe at how Auburn Essential Services (AES) has grown over the past seven years.
Many of you are familiar with our history: We were born out of the need to provide an Auburn employer with a better communications and IT infrastructure. The result was something that not only benefited that company, but the entire community as well. (Learn more about AES’ history.)
Today, we deliver phone and Internet services through our community-owned fiber network. Our base of customers continues to expand each year and I believe it’s not only because of the quality of our product, but the quality of our service as well.
If there’s anything I want you to know about AES it’s this: we work for you—and take great pride in that. As your community network – we operate as an extension of the City of Auburn – we are continually focused on providing services and solutions that keep you connected, current and competitive. And we’re doing all that in a way that is convenient and conducive to you.
You told us no contracts and we agreed. We don’t offer special introductory offers or marketing gimmicks… and we don’t play the numbers game. We have built our organization on the premise that the best deal is a quality product at an affordable price—same deal, every day of the year, no matter when you sign up.
